The round baler plant in Wolfenbüttel is being rebuilt, modernized and sorted out. Most recently, employees donated a four-digit sum as a result of the measures, which has now been handed over to the Wolfenbüttel Clinic.
Until now, the employees at the Wolfenbüttel site (Lower Saxony, Germany) exclusively manufactured round balers. From September, the Fendt Tigo loader wagon will also be manufactured at the site. The conversion and modernization measures for the new production are already underway and are constantly unearthing obsolete tools, furniture or even bulk materials. Employees can purchase these items for a donation, which then goes to a good cause. No less than 3,000 euros have been raised through the clean-up work. The donation was now handed over to the local hospital by Michael Ziehe, Chairman of the Works Council of AGCO GmbH Wolfenbüttel. "Nursing staff have done a great deal for society over the past three years. Our employees decided to donate the proceeds to the hospital in recognition, thanks and out of respect for the work they have done", said Jakob Arnold, factory manager Wolfenbüttel. Axel Burghardt, Managing Director of Städtisches Klinikum Wolfenbüttel gGmbH, accepted the check. The sum is to be used for team-building measures for the nursing staff.
