There’s the field where farmers use our machines. And then there’s the field of agricultural equipment makers like AGCO...And figuratively speaking, we’re doing everything we can to un-level it.
“For the farmers. For the people working for them. For ourselves. For the future.”
The Fendt Cargo T740 telehandler received a gold medal at Agrotech Kielce, Poland's largest agricultural trade fair. At the same time, the Fendt CORUS 500 combine also received a distinction.
"We are very pleased with the two awards for the Fendt telehandler and combine harvester. The Fendt Cargo T740 is particularly interesting for farmers and contractors in Poland due to its compact dimensions and high maneuverability, and demand among customers is high," says Tomasz Szczesny, Business Manager Fendt Poland. "Our farmers rely mainly on self-mechanization, so robust and efficient straw walker combines, such as the Fendt CORUS 500, are very popular. These awards confirm that we offer innovative and reliable agricultural technology for the Polish market."
The jury traditionally awards medals to the best machines at the Agrotech Kielce trade fair. The Fendt Cargo T740 telehandler impressed the jury with its "design solutions improving operator working conditions and operating safety" and received a gold medal for it.
The agile and efficient machine is at home on medium-sized mixed farms. The telehandler with a working height of up to 7.70 m combines high breakaway force, precise control and a viewing height of over four meters. This allows the Fendt Cargo T740 to be used for a wide range of agricultural work, such as handling straw, transport, feeding or silo removal.
“The interest in the new product is also confirmed by many conversations conducted during the exhibition. Our sales team answered many questions related to the machine. Questions were asked not only by farmers, but also by companies dealing in agricultural crops”, explains Tomasz Szczesny.

The Fendt CORUS 500 has been awarded for its “design solutions that improve productivity and reliability”. The Fendt CORUS 500 was designed as an entry-level model for European farms that rely on self-mechanization. The focus was on high threshing performance with reliable, efficient and robust technology. The range includes nine five-straw walker models in the power segment of up to 260 hp with a working width of up to 7.60 m, as well as two different grain tank sizes and unloading capacities.
“The Fendt CORUS 500 combines models are perfectly matched in terms of header sizes and performance for family farmers in Poland. Farms that want to have their own combine to be independent, but also for contractors, who harvest on family farms of the smallest and medium size”, emphasizes Tomasz Szczesny. “Another positive factor are the economical operation solutions for harvesting in different crops offered by the CORUS combines: They offer reliability for long years of use, high productivity in all crops type and conditions and high quality.”
